I’ve always been a perceptive person when interpreting what others understand from a piece of writing. It’s why the structure of a story and how it’s revealed to the reader runs high on my radar as a writer and editor.
When I'm not editing, I'm researching family secrets and working to preserve family and public history through in-depth research, documentation, and the digitization of memories.
I have a BA degree in English, an MFA in creative writing, and I'm a closeted bibliophile.
I write memoir, personal essays, and fiction while dabbling in the subjects of family history research and abandonment.
My writing has been published in Burrow Press Review, Prick of the Spindle, Tampa Bay Times, and I'm the 2020 winner of the Lee J. Harrer Award for the essay “`leɡəsi."
As an editor and writing coach, I help writers find the heart of their stories and deliver their message to the world.
Whether memoir, nonfiction, novel, or family history narrative, you've worked hard on your book and I'll give it the professional attention it deserves.
Shoot me an email with a few lines describing your book, its word count,
and what kind of editing you're looking for and I'll get back to you soon after.
